In the leading article “A New Giant Being Born", written after a long journey through India of two members of the Editorial staff, they write: “A new player in the globalization, and the most numerous democracy on the planet, India is getting stronger. For its future it stakes on the international recognition and on a decisive battle against poverty. The economic development of India is one of the strongest on the planet: 8% annual growth during the last year... It is a vast resource of qualified and cheep working power, where the multinational high technology companies have their research laboratories and in which with fast tempos grow up real industrial giants".
