Eminent Bulgarian dramatic actor Andrei Batashov visited India and gave performance with three of his students on the stage of Kamani concert hall in Delhi. The visit took place on the initiative of the Bulgarian Embassy in India and was sponsored by the Bulgarian “East-West” Indological Foundation. In an Internet Interview actor Batashov shares his satisfaction with the visit, pointing out that the mission of the actor is “to be the mediator of the Devine, making it accessible to the public”. His performance, based mainly on dance and music, certainly is accessible even to foreign language audiences.
